Violinists Eleanor Legault and Ingrid Matthews
Two crown jewels of musical creation, J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Double Violin Concerto, are joined by a rich tapestry of beauty from throughout the Baroque era in a historically-informed performance. Ingrid Matthews, internationally-renowned baroque violinist and former Music Director of Seattle Baroque Orchestra, joins SMCO for the first time. Serving as both leader and an additional soloist is Eleanor Legault, whose performances as a baroque violinist have included tours with acclaimed ensembles such as Juilliard415 and the English Concert.
